During these worrying times dog owners need every support to protect their pets from theft. We are aware that there have been incidents of thieves cutting leads with knives or scissors. If this concerns you then this is a solution.
We have designed and make a reinforced lead.
The twisted strand coated steel wire is threaded through the cushion webbing lead to protect it from cutting. It is attached at the bottom to the metal lead clip. It runs all the way to the base of the handle and loops through the handle base. This makes it not possible to not simply cut through the lead. The wire its self needs very strong wire cutters and a lot of pressure to cut through it once it has been cut free from the webbing.
Measures 48 inches but can be made longer on request.
This hasn't been stress tested for the wire and joints of the wire to support a dog pulling against it in the circumstances such as a dog chewing all the way through the webbing and relying on just the wire.
